Paradoxes
It's "funny" to think that many African or Asian autocrats are probably crossing fingers so Kafhafi won't fall, not because they like him - they all hate his guts as he's been financing subversive movements in their countries (or in Western countries) for decades and dreaming of becoming the only one leader of Muslim countries -but if Kadhafi falls, in spite of resorting to extreme violence, mercenaries and butchering protesters, they know it's going to encourage their own people to fight for freedom...
I'm pretty sure that the king of Morocco is one of those leaders hoping for the libyan revolution to fall through and the repression to be successful, given his speech after the demonstration on Sunday, but I'm still going to Tangiers on Thursday.
