Summer So Far

Jul 16, 2007 19:02

I have not updated in a long long time but I want to start posting regularly again.

Summer has been very good so far, it started off with Grad which was an amazing time. No drama. I had an amazing date (Greg obv) and some amazing friends to dance and party with. Convocation also went well. I won a few awards and scholarships so basically my whole first semester is payed for and possibly some of my second semester.

Canada Day on Osborne was fun as usual. It poured rain and I felt like I was in a summer movie (like Now and Then).

I saw the White Stripes play a few weeks ago and they were fantastic live. It made me appreciate their talent way more than I ever did before.

Folk Fest was last weekend and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I shall never miss another Folk Fest for as long as I live. I know that I will eventually grow out of the camping scene, but I will continue to go for the music once I've outgrown it. I wish Greg would have came. Next year though.

This past weekend I stayed at Greg's. Saturday was his cousin's wedding and Sunday was his dad's birthday so I just slept over both nights. I rode my bike home this morning wearing heels and it was the worst decision eveeeeer. I wiped out because I was trying to stop and my heel got stuck in the pedal.

Tonight I am seeing "Blades Of Glory" with my mum at the cheap seats. I promised I'd take her a long time ago. I'm pretty excited to see it. Then i'll be hitting the sack early tonight because I skate tomorrow morning at 9 am.
