Midnight Melancholy
Ah, la lune est très belle ce soir.
But I can't go and enjoy her beauty because I'm stuck in my office. I'm not allowed to leave until I get some work done. Well, perhaps this counts as work, non? I mean, I am typing something into the computer. Perhaps if I check my email, it'll seem like I'm doing something important.
It's kind of lonely. There's no on here right now and what's worse is that I have no one working under me, so I actually have to get all this work done because there's no one else to blame if it's not complete. Oh, so frustrating. I never thought being a Director could be so annoying. But I was wrong, wasn't I?
Ah~! Someone signed onto Live Messenger~! I'm not lonely all of a sudden. I don't think I'd mind being here for a few more hours...
...but I'm probably not going to stay that long anyway. I ran out of wine this afternoon and I had to go the whole day without a single drop! I think I'm just going to go home, curl up with my favorite bottle of red wine and read a nice romance novel.
Work, ugh, the word sickens me.
