A Day in My Life

Feb 06, 2007 01:03

On Friday February the Second I ventured from my house with my camera and a plan. To take as many pictures as I could and pick a few that I could post as a Day in the Life of Me! The selection process was made easier as my battery started to die, but it lasted.

I get up in the morning to find the taps in the bathroom running. My roommate had woken up in the middle of the night, ran a bath for himself then fell asleep. True Story!

Time to get ready to go.

Wave goodbye to my home! *wave*

Nice morning, but COLD!

The Subway Station isn’t too far away.

Not too crowded today, I must be late.

I am amused by this sign every morning. “The TTC doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, but we’ll take a hand if you’re short on cash.”

Renée and I often eat breakfast together. Today with new purple hair! Don’t it look nice?

Down to work.

Today I’m sorting through old tapes. Not a typical day, I swear.

Outside the office I run into ACTRA on strike. Last major actors strike started the reality TV craze. Please Find a Solution Soon!

Every Friday I set up computers for our Filmmaker in Residence and the girls at I Was Here.
It’s amazing stuff, take some time to check it out if you can.

You see the most interesting things on the streets of Toronto. Spot the Scott?

Back to the NFB for lunch.

Branden Bratuhin, Fastest editor at the NFB!

Back at “I Was Here”, Heather is trying some new clothes on her baby. Don’t they look great? She’s due on the 21st.

Taking the computers back to the office. I feel a bit like a pack horse :)

It’s the end of my day at the Film Board. I wonder who’s at Much Music tonight.

On my way to my other work I’m stopping to get a hotdog.

Mmmmmm, looks good.

Freelance work in the evenings, who wants to be stuck in front of a computer on a Friday night? (Oh Oh! I do!)

I have a better idea. Off to Alexandra’s Champaign birthday party. Funny, she doesn’t look two…

Sasha’s at the party too.

I was all ready to leave when I was tempted with a game a Cranium. We played until four in the morning.

Not many people on the streets that late at night.

I made it home just fine, and even got to sleep in on Saturday.
