I woke up this morning to discover that I seem to have pulled my groin muscle. Looking back on yesterday I can’t think of a single thing that I could have done to myself that would cause me to be in this much pain. Walking is becoming problematic ( Read more... )

Oooo.. sorry to hear about the groin muscle. Wish it could have been the result of a Dionysus Appreciation weekend marathon or something to justify such pain.

And you can x-ray a gecko? *tries to visualize the GEICO commerical for that*

But I hope both of your..... *stiffles the tie-in ala Wayne & Schuster at this point for the sake of any underaged LJ readers*

I never knew all the strange and wonderful names Kings U. has for their residences. Dal has Howe Hall, Sheriff, etc, named after famous people or people with famous donations.

Kings on the other hand has North Pole, Hell, Alex, and other ones that actually relate to the areas they are located. Journalists and theatre people.. *shakes head*

I know this because I must uplink and register said students on a daily basis in the simulator.

As for the scale I'm sizing and measuring by (it's an ongoing gag now, sorry)
I'm finding humanity an interesting subject and writing my notes about what life inside a sphere was like in contrast. Other than that, I'm still studying the Macs and learning to put on virus scanners, apps and how to repair. It's taking time because I have to learn the variations with the older hardware and OS 9 ontop of the new stuff (though I love iPhoto since it's dirt simple.)

You should be able to replace the keyboard on the Mac with a standard USB one from your old PC if you want to feel more comfortable. As for the mouse, that's still an oddity.

The funny thing about North Pole is it's named that because the furnace tends to be... uncooperative and gets stuck on. Most often, it's very very hot in that bay. And if you want a really exciting residence name, how's Middle Bay? Obviously somebody ran out of clever ideas. Angels' Roost is rather poetic, though...
