I admit I do feel guilty about my Anita Sarkeesian Short Trilogy Campaign. Overall, I feel I have justification to combat political correctness. I feel guilty, because I am criticizing someone.
Every motivational speaker says, "be proactive", or in other words, "do what you love, instead of fighting what you hate" (aka
The Law of Attraction). Stephen Covey urged us to adopt a principle centered paradigm", instead of an "enemy centered paradigm." It seems to make sense. However, in the real world, sometimes you just got to fight people.
I have noticed almost all political figures criticize their opponents. Ted Cruz, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton,
and Gary Johnson all do. Even Thomas Jefferson and Nelson Mandela did. Donald Trump alone takes the high road
and never criticizes his opponents.
Ideally I would only say positive things about everyone. But proactivity alone hasn't enabled me to achieve my goals.
I may not be any better than anyone else, but I also am probably not any worse. I have awareness; others may not. Yet despite this others have achieved success that I haven't, so I better not let proactivity dominate me.
