I'm sadly beginning to tire of Chuck/Blair, or at least with what the writers are doing with them at the moment with this will they/won't they being dragged out so much. Chuck's grief over Bart would have been the perfect time to finally allow C/B to become a couple. It would have been awesome to see them say work together on taking Jack down. Instead every episode it feels like Chuck treats Blair like shit, then breaks down and apologises at the end. Last episode felt like a breakthrough when he apologised to Blair and cried in her arms, but this episode when he accused Blair of acting like his wife it was the third episode in a row where they've gone over the same old ground :/
I find Jack kind of hot, especially when he winked at Nate *blushes* And I think he had a point in Chuck not being ready to run a multi-million dollar company at 17. Set up or not, Chuck did a good job himself of proving he's not ready to become CEO, and that works for me as I'd rather he go to school with the other characters. Shame that he was double-crossed by his guardian like that though, if anything it might have been fun to see Jack and Chuck scheming together and bonding over their wicked ways, poor Chuck has been so emo this season that he could do with a little fun again.
And I loved Rufus/Lily last season, but this season I am so over them and their boring lovechild plot which belongs on a soap opera. Why on earth are the parents covering up the son's existence, it's not like he's a small child where Rufus and Lily fighting for custody is an issue??? Rufus and Lily's kiss was pretty hot actually, but I just can't get past their behaviour. Rufus is so pushy and annoying, and Lily can't even be bothered to show up to Bart's will reading or show any interest in Chuck (who came through for her recently), and she still gets a 20% share *sighs*
Eric and Jenny are cute together though, it's good to see her acting more like her age again. And it was fun to see those little girls from last season confronting Dan.
"Why do you wear so much purple", "Spare me those expressive eyebrows. I can't wait until you get Botox", and "Dating Nate Archibald after striking out with Dan Humphrey? Talk about failing upwards" were the best lines of the episode :D
Cute interview with Chace and Ed where they get asked if they are a couple or just roomates, and Ed says "We are having fun that's for sure" *g*
