My job is too much like grade school...
Okay well first of all didn't really do much this weekend, tom was kinda sick so we pretty much just hung out at the house. :/ Although on sunday we did go walk around the mall and I picked up 2 books and a new PS2 controller. Plus we did get some Hibachi San, mmm now thats some good chinese food there. Other than that i've just been reading, playing Final Fantasy XII and being a general slob. Oh yeah got the new projector bulb too, the original one finally went out a couple of weeks ago. so yeah that was a quick way to blow $260 heh.
As to the title of this post, gah. So every month they do these stupid focus themes, sometimes its cool, sometimes its pretty dumb. Basically its about them trying to get us to do better on our surveys. So this month it was someone's bright idea to take 7 of the people who got perfects on their surveys last month to be the team leaders for the gay focus this month *rolls eyes* So we pick teams out of a hat, im not joking there was really a hat involved lol, and they just basically throw us into this. The theme is supposed to be "growing excellence" and we're literally supposed to grow plants. So we're supposed to get our team together and discuss our strengths and shit *rolls eyes again* and of course everyone else realizes how stupid this is so we basically spent the time bitching about the company lol. We got a half our for our meeting yesterday paid, but any other damn time i spend on this is on my own time and let me tell you i just don't god damn feel like it. It sucks ass because they want us to do this gay display on one of the bulletin boards and we have to decorate and plant this big ass pot, i'm telling you it feels like grade school. I wonder what they'd say if i just told them, sorry don't give a shit lol. One of the other things they've been doing lately is just throwing all kinds of shit at us that we have to do on each 30 second god damn call. Frankly i'm sick of it. Just when i was starting to be okay with this damn job they go and piss me off lol. I make fucking $10.65 an hour, and let me tell you its not enough for all this bullshit. I can't wait till i have a job that's not all about the corporate bullshit. Probably part of the reason I want to go into teaching. /rant
so yeah thats about it lol. Oh watched American Pie: Band Camp last night, its was pretty damn funny, the story was cliche'd to say the least but it was damn funny so i'll let that one slide :)
