LJ... Dreamwidth...
So as most of you have noticed on Dreamwidth, that I've been working on getting things set up over here on Dreamwidth. I don't plan on leaving LJ any time soon. But if things continue the way they've been I don't think I'll have much choice. I doubt the attacks will stop, though they may take a break. And if they do continue, I'm afraid that LJ might lose that war. I'd hate to think that, especially since I've been there for so long. But mostly, I'm happy that I've been able to back up and archive everything of mine on Dreamwidth, in case that day ever comes.
I've gone and bought myself two months of paid time on Dreamwidth to help settle in with my icons and things. I figure at least for a while, I'll be paying for two services. Which... If I'm using them, I'm not too worried about it.
Either way, I plan on posting to Dreamwidth from now on and having it crosspost to LJ. So you can read my entries from either site. And in the meantime, I'll probably be checking my flist in both places.
The only thing I don't like right now about Dreamwidth is my layout. And that is just a matter of finding something I like and making it work for me. Meh. I really love my LJ layout and I'm not sure I'll be able to find something that I can wrangle together to look similar enough.
And anyway, for anyone that is interested in joining Dreamwidth but doesn't have a code, let me know. I have 2 codes available right now.
