isn't cancelling daylight savings time supposed to give you an extra hour to sleep and feel more rested????

soundbites:

1. my office roomie is moving elsewhere - after i moved to a slightly more expensive space FOR HIM and kicked out a temporary
officemate AT HIS INSISTENCE.
2. not one trial or prelim scheduled for this month has started or completed thus preventing me from billing Legal aid for any money
3. the dog is now needing to go out to pee at 3 am every night
4. the baby is still up 3+ times a night
5. my brand new VAIO laptop is acting stupid and i'm so un-techie these days that i've already had to call in a geek to work on it
6. the baby is about 6 seconds from crawling all over this house thus ensuring that every cd, dvd, vhs tape, LP, and piece of stereo
equipment will hit the floor (and/or baby) if we don't find some cabinets we can live with
7. the meeting i rushed to try and settle a small claims case i filed was useless cuz the other side sent a peon without authority
to talk resolution

ok it's not all bad

1. the dog is shedding almost nothing cuz she's building up her winter coat
2. i have a jury trial at the end of the month and i actually have time to prep it.
3. my mother has chilled enormously and is being affectionate with evan and is even learning to like the dog (!!!!)
4. a dispute i had with a creditor has (mostly) resolved in my favour
5. i have a new laser printer at work that is not only awesome and easy to use but was cheap, cheap, cheap!
6. the baby has finallhy gotten over the dregs of a cold and isn't congested all night
7. the plants i was given to be ground cover has actually been planted and have lived for a week!

i know it sounds like the most mundane life ever. and it probably is. but ihave no time for melodrama with a career and a baby and husband i love..... exciting for me is time to read a book in a bubblebath and fantasizing about skiing banff........
