with a little luck and alot of work i may just get me a cottage for the family to for all of next season. i have a line on something tiny but cute and close. and i've emailed a few others just for shits and giggles to compare prices. at the end of the month i hope we'll be making a road trip to see a few and decide. and hopefully by then i'll have some $$ to deposit.
i've done a grand total of nothing today - and i really do need it. tomorrow i hafta be in the office at 10 am for an urgent client matter. and the rest of the week includes a crappy trial, lotsa homework, and a prelim in Belleville. note i said "includes" not "consists of only". yah, well that's how these lawyer creatures make the bucks. we work our asses off a legal aid rates and then hafta to cover office expenses before paying ourselves. i'm getting so busy i'm gonna have someone work as an admin assistant a day a week, or so. and if this keeps up beyond hallowe'en i may look for an associate. i've always worked to keep teh practice down to me and only me, but now with a family to support, i'd best kick things up a notch.
