BSG Query ... which Three?
So I was pondering a fic bunny when I realized I couldn't really write it because I didn't quite understand an aspect of BSG. So I throw it out to my friends list to see if anyone else has a clearer idea about it than I do. The show's been very good at building distinctions between all the sixes and all the eights, but ...
What about D'Anna/Three? We know there are at least two that we've seen, D'Anna Biers who we saw in Final Cut and may or may not know she is a Cylon in Final Cut (I am aware of the deleted scenes from Downloaded, but, they're, you know, deleted for good reason). We also have Caprica Three that is the one featured in Downloaded and the one Caprica Six killed with the big old rock to the head.
So which one is the crazy one from season 3?
I'd argue that for most of season 3 we were seeing the same individual, who was calling herself D'Anna, but seemed to be the one from Caprica. She referenced Caprica killing her with the rock while on New Caprica, but she also had the dream of being on Galactica. The name thing is probably just that some of them use the same name (the Sharons for example), but otherwise it's contradictory. I wanted to see if anyone else had a clearer idea of how many Threes we'd seen and who was what.
My plot bunny, for the record, is D'Anna Biers didn't know she was a cylon and had trouble adjusting to it when she was outed by the other threes on New Caprica.
