9 am, a huge lecture theatre of Majimak Insa University. A small clutter can be heard as all students sit and wait for whatever that is to take place at the opening ceremony. Finally, a man in a black suit comes up to the stage and stands behind a microphone.
"Welcome to Majimak insa University. My name is Lee Dong Wook and I'm the chancellor of this university. As you may already know, you have been chosen to participate in a government project which’s aim is to place normal humans and those with special ability in one place. All of you will live in the university's dormitories and I believe you have already been informed to which one you have been assigned to. Furthermore, your roommates have been decided upon on the basis of the rule stating that in each room there is to be a regular student and a student with a special ability, that is why I inform you in advance that any applications concerning changes in the rooms arrangement will not be taken into consideration. Not to prolong my speech any longer I will now proceed to introducing the leaders of our three dormitories in order for you to become acquainted with the person who will be in charge of you. Therefore, if one hears one’s name being spoken, please come up to the stage for everyone to see. Let's start then, the leader of the Kings' dorm, Jung Yunho," the chancellor calls out.
A nicely dressed, well - built, tall man with dark brown hair makes his way to the stage.
"Introduce yourself, please," the chancellor instructs.
"Hello, I'm Jung Yunho and I guess I'll be in charge of some of you. Let's get along," the tall man greets with a small smile.
"Let us now proceed to the leader of the Solo Collection dorm, Kim Hyunjoong," the chancellor announces.
This time, a tall men with brownish wavy hair and dressed in black makes his way to the stage. "Hi, I'm Kim Hyunjoong," the black clad men states simply and without any enthusiasm whatsoever.
“Now, the leader of the Suju dorm, Park Jungsu," the chancellor says to the microphone.
Again, a tall man lazily makes his way to the stage. He has blond hair tied in a short ponytail and is dressed in a pair of bleached jeans going together with a white wife beater.
"Call me Leeteuk, understood?“ The man says more imperatively than anything. “Nice. To. Meet. You.," he adds shortly after, his every word dripping with sarcasm, his eyes cold.
Among the ‘audience’, a certain student studies the three men on stage. “Hmm…all three are pretty good looking…But still, I’m the most handsome guy here,” he concludes running his hand through his silky hair for the 20th time. His statement seems to attract attention of the student sitting next to him so he decides to start a conversation. “Hi, I’m Kim Jaejoong,” he introduces himself running his hand through his hair yet again and sending the other man his trademark smile.
“Ugh, hi…I’m Shim Changmin,” the man answers smiling awkwardly and returns his gaze to the stage.
Heh, he must be overwhelmed by my unearthly beauty. Jaejoong convinces himself while nodding his head, a proud smile gracing his lips.
“I believe our ceremony is coming to an end, therefore, I would ask you to make your way to your respective dormitories, unless there are some questions?” The chancellor asks looking intently at the students and waiting for some kind of response.
“Yeah, actually I do have a question. No, scratch that, make it two,” a long - legged man sitting in a far back left corner speaks up.
“Let’s hear it then,” the chancellor replies looking at the man with the questions.
“For one, are the dorm leaders ordinary students or do they have a special ability?” The man in the corner asks, his eyes piercing and gaze unwavering.
“ That…is an important question indeed,” the chancellor admits. “The answer is, all three are…‘gifted,’ he adds seconds later.
“What are their special powers?” A man sitting in a front row asks enthusiastically.
“Well…student…” Dong Wook trails off.
“Kim Junsu,” the student supplies.
“Junsu, to answer your question, Jungsu here, has wind control,” the chancellor explains extending his hand in Leeteuk’s direction and earning himself a glare from the man. “Hyunjoong rules the earth element and Yunho’a special ability is fire,” the chancellor supplies.
“Oh, cool~” Junsu smiles and nods approvingly.
“And may I know why all the dorm leaders are…as you said…’gifted’?” The man from the back corner asks, hostility clear in his voice and his eyes, which reflect hatred, focused on the leader of the Kings’ dorm.
“Well…as means of precaution the management decided to choose only the ‘gifted’ ones to prevent any of the three from gaining domination over others. It is an undeniable truth that an ‘ordinary’ student would be disadvantaged in comparison to the ‘gifted’ one, therefore, to ensure every dorm an equally powerful leader, only those with special ability have been chosen. I hope my explanation cleared your doubts, student Kim Kyujong,” Dong Wook replies calmly holding gaze with the other man.
Ignoring the fact that the chancellor seems to know his name, Kyujong replies darkly, “yes, it did. Thank you.“ The long - legged man didn’t even have to ask why the management haven’t considered making only the ‘regular’ students the dorm leaders for the answer is as clear as the sun - the ‘gifted’ would do whatever they wanted and the ‘ordinary’ dorm leader wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. But why the hell the Kings’ dorm’s leader has to be this Jung Yunho guy?! I fucking hate those with fire ability! Is fate playing a cruel trick on me? Hasn’t She had enough yet?! Why did I have to be assigned to the Kings’ dorm of all places?! Kyujong bitterly thinks to himself while still observing the fire controlling man, his eyes full of hatred.
Why is he glaring at me? Yunho wonders, immediately noticing the other man’s intense stare on him. Ah, whatever, he simply shrugs it off.
“Any further questions?” The chancellor asks looking over the students. Not hearing any, the man decides to end the ceremony. “I once again welcome you in the Majimak Insa University. I hope you make some wonderful memories here. That is all. You are dismissed,” the chancellor announces and soon after, the students leave their seats to head to their respective dorms.
“Boys, I need you to stay a bit longer,” Dong Wook states turning to the three dorm leaders who were already on their way to leave the theatre with the rest of the students.
Leeteuk stills his movements and very slowly turns his head to meet the chancellor’s eyes. Murderous intent could be easily sensed radiating from him as his ice cold eyes seem to send a what-the-fuck-did-you-just-say? message.

The SuJu dorm.
The residents of the Suju dorm arrive at their destination.
“Woah, it’s huge!” a man with raven hair marvels at the sight in front of him.
“It looks really nice,” a guy standing next to him compliments showing his gummy smile.
“Dear Lord, please bless this dorm and people who will live in it,” the tallest man in the group says, his head slightly bowed down and a look of genuine concentration on his face. The rest of the residents look at him oddly.
“OK, I suggest we go in and see how it’s like inside,” the man with raven hair proposes releasing a chuckle and shaking his head in amusement. “Oh, I’m Kim Jongwoon by the way, but just call me Yesung” the man adds smiling at the others.
“Hi, I’m Lee Hyukjae, but you can call me Eunhyuk if you want,” the man with the gummy smile introduces himself with a cheerful smile and extends his hand for a handshake.
“Nice to meet you Eunhyuk, I can already see that we’ll become friends,” the raven haired man says taking Hyukjae’s hand and giving it a shake, a bright smile on his face.
“Cho Kyuhyun,” a pale man with an emotionless face introduces himself next and also extends his hand for a handshake.
“Hi, Kyuhyun,” Yesung greets taking the offered hand which, as he soon discovers, feels as cold as ice.
“So I guess it’s my turn now…I’m Kim Ryeowook…it’s a pleasure to meet you,” a man dressed according to the latest fashion walks up to Yesung and takes his hand. It was supposed to be a handshake but it was more like caressing Yesung’s hand than anything.
The raven haired man glances down at their linked hands and lifts his eyebrow. Then, he looks up at the other man who is staring intently into his eyes and for some reason Yesung starts feeling drowsy.
Soon though, the religious man nears the two and Ryeowook reluctantly lets go of Yesung’s hand.
“And I’m Choi Siwon,” the tallest guy says smiling, his dimples showing.
“Nice to meet you Siwon,,” Yesung answers and the two exchange a quick handshake.
“OK, so let’s go in then,” Eunhyuk says and the residents enter the SuJu dorm.
“Hello, young men. Welcome to the SuJu dorm,” an elderly lady greets the group. “Your baggage has already been delivered into your rooms. There are name tags on the doors so just walk down this corridor and find which room is yours,” the lady explains pointing in the direction of the corridor.
The five men bow their heads respectfully and start on their way down the corridor with sapphire blue walls . Shortly after, they arrive at the first door with a name tag.
“So…it looks like we’re going to be roommates,” Hyukjae says smiling warmly at Kyuhyun. The pale man looks at him without uttering a single word, his face still expressionless. Hyukjae’s smile falters a bit. “OK, we’ll go in now, see you later guys,” he says turning to the three other men showing them, again, his bright smile and pushing the door open.
After Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk disappeared behind the closed door, the rest of the residents resume their walk down the corridor.
“…So my roommate is the dorm leader…” Yesung states looking at the two name tags on the door.
“Will you be OK? I mean, our dorm leader…well, he doesn’t appear to be the friendly type,” Siwon worries.
“But he’s insanely handsome~” Ryeowook points out with a smirk on his face and the two other man look at him.
“What?” The fashionable man asks lifting an eyebrow.
“Then I’ll be going now,” Yesung says waving his hand and walks into his room leaving the other two alone in the corridor.
“If we’re the only ones left, then that would mean we’re roommates, right?” Siwon voices his thoughts aloud.
“Yup, let’s go to find our room then,” Ryeowook replies and the two men start walking, Ryeowook discretely checking out Siwon’s body.
“Here’s our room,” the religious man announces happily.
“Mission complete,” Ryeowook adds chuckling and a few seconds later the sapphire blue corridor is left empty.

So, how was the opening ceremony? A voice from the phone receiver asks.
“Hmm…nothing special. To be honest, I was expecting some violent clashes but unfortunately there were none. Though, I must admit that selecting Kim Kyujong and Park Jungsu was a good choice…they both have hatred in their eyes so I believe they’ll keep us entertained for a while,” a man sitting in the university office answers laughing slyly while swinging on his black leather chair.
Heh, I know. The man on the other line chuckles. By the way, how did you come up with the name for the university? It fits so perfectly…Majimak insa…it really is the last farewell for them…
