Oh.........i just read "Lust" by Susan Minot and it made me cry. I am so freaking emotional. If you are a girl you need to read it...uh guys I guess you can read it too. It really got me. p.s. it's a short story not a book
--My "date" with Skittles, we ate Korean food, discussed France, laughed & cried (both very loudly) through Rent, realized that Skittles is the female incarnation of Mark Cohen (especially in AWKWARDNESS..."oh hi! oh gosh. i don't-- i mean-- i'm with-- i'm--i'm mark!!!"), and skipped down the street singing "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time."
--SEMI.....in which Chart and I refused to sit down during that part of "Shout" when everyone "gets low"...so we're jumping up and down in the middle of the crowd...basically hilarious. then of course...THE DANCE OFF between Cambridge and Honors Lit made my life. MADE my life.
--afterwards, chart and i performed our back-up-singer dance in our matching purple towels in the bathroom and sang the best love song in the world
--Yao and I hid in Lau's closet because we didn't want to tell "the man" that we were sleeping over in the dorm. So basically we were illegal immigrants.
I LOVE HAMLET. shakespeare you're my man. suriah and i are having a Shakespeare party; if you truly love the Bard you are invited. shakespearian garb a must. we will be writing with quills and reciting poetry, discussing our favorite works, then watching Hamlet, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, Romeo & Juliet, perhaps even Much Ado About Nothing. Or maybe we'll bust out with something really obscure like Playing Shakespeare, hahaha OH Gandalf in his younger days.
