Multifandom ramblings
I've been on a Sanctuary kick lately but I finally caught up with a couple of my other shows. So just a bit of a reaction post for the masses.
Chuck - 4x12
I just finished watching the last ep, and holy crap, that was intense. It started out a bit cheesy with Sarah's evil costume switch, but it definitely got better. Poor Casey. And Sarah. That second fall was actually pretty unexpected but I loved it, it's genuine drama, it wasn't Sarah's fault, but it looked bad from Chuck's POV. Sarah's in a tight spot now. Really looking forward to the next ep.
On a lighter note, I liked the baby name subplot, - way to out awesome the Awesome, Ellie! - and the guys playing Risk, you just know Casey would take those two in a heartbeat!
Castle - 3x13
I like it when they work on Beckett's mother's case, so this was nice, but nowhere near perfect. I know there was a fakeout makeout between Castle and Beckett (Yay!) but my favourite thing was the torture scene with the other guys. You just have to love the bromance between Ryan and Esposito.
House - 7x10
I'm at a point where I absolutely don't care about the medical mysteries anymore. I basically watch for the character interactions. I'm not sure what does it say about me, but I thought house-training (see what I did there?) Rachel was sweet, admittedly in a sick and twisted way, but still. Loved Wilson's "Oh, crap! Crap!" after his accidental advice and Taub's teasing of Chase. I liked 3M initially but she's getting old real fast.
Spartacus - Gods of the Arena - 1x01
God, how I missed this show, it has everything a fan could ask for. I'm really estatic about this prequel, Batiatus was my favourite character, so I'm thrilled to see the scheming bastard again. And John Hannah is awesome. There's a completely different dynamic between the characters now, it will be interesting to see how certain events unfold and end up the way they did for the start of Blood and Sand.
