Clarification of tag use

Before I post the summary I wanted to clarify on some tag use confusion over on the RP comm. I've noticed a sudden recent increase in the use of the (cross post), (open) and (active) tags in conjunction with the (sixwordstories) and (smuttysws) tags.
This is not needed. The (cross post) tag is for cross posts other than those that have tags, for example Dear Mun or those from your IJ or DW accounts, the (open) tag for open threads within the RP comm, and the (active) tag the same.
SWS/SSWS example of tag use
liz - open_flame, (sixwordstories), verse:bumpinthenight, plot: all hallows eve
lizzie - lizzie_sparks, (sixwordstories), (flashback), verse:bumpinthenight, verse:oliver, verse:hellboycanon, verse:whataboutbob
On Comm Example
liz - open_flame, harry - zaa_lord, (active), (open), verse:bumpinthenight, plot: fae war
I've pointed out to a few of you as I've noticed it that it's redundant to use overlapping tags, but it's still happening and it would make my little Comm Upkeep/Tag Fairy task a lot easier if you use only the tags needed for your posts. If you have questions, I'll be happy to answer when I can. <3
