Name of 'Verse/Idea: Bump in the Night (Bump!Verse or Bump! for short)
Fandom: Panfandom (Primarily Doctor Who/Torchwood and Hellboy Movie canons with Heroes/Marvel/Etc thrown in to boot)
Setting: Anywhere, anytime as character abilities/equipment allow (Magic, character ability, TARDIS and Vortex Manipulator are just a few examples of how verse members could travel though time/space).
Primary BPRD Headquarters is in Newark, New Jersey. Primary Torchwood US Headquarters is TBD. Primary Primatech/The Company location is TBD.

What is your 'Verse/Idea about: Crossover AU RP Verse. Jack Harkness and Trevor Broom found the BPRD starting shortly after Hellboy comes though the portal off the coast of Scotland in 1944 as seen in Hellboy. Jack disbands Torchwood following the events of Torchwood episodes Fragments and Exit Wounds. He becomes Director of the BPRD during the events in Hellboy II: The Golden Army when Tom Manning is removed.
Presently the BPRD is seeking agents and special agents, as well as other employees to assist them in protecting the world from the monsters, aliens and things that go bump in the night.
This verse is 'hop around' timeline wise and may include flashbacks and flashforwards. If an event in the past needs more flushing out, please feel free to play it out/ fic it. Time Travel for those with the ability to do so is allowed and even encouraged. However caution is advised and future events are never viewed as 'fixed' unless they are canon events. There can also be 'extreme' crossovers, involving movies, comics, and television series. Basically anything goes as long as you don't godmod or disrupt another player's in play plots.

Please feel free to use SWS for dry runs and to test out ideas before playing canon threads or fics on the comm. You may also us SWS, AIM, Personal Journal RP, and Twitter for your primary verse canon play if you wish, but we ask that you cross post with the proper tags and use the Weekly Summary to keep your verse mates abreast as to what your muses have been up to. This offers the most player flexibly and freedom, which is what this comm is all about.

Please feel free to NPC characters that do not have a player as needed, but use reasonable discretion when doing this as situations may change and NPCs can become played muses quickly. You can simply have the NPC do things during your characters play, or you may use the freeverses_npc Account if you wish. It has 30 icon slots, so there's room for pretty much anyone you might need. WANTED CHARACTERS:
We are always seeking new players, and we have found that most fandoms and muses will fit into Bump!Verse with minimal canon modifications. We welcome AUs, genderswaps, age tweaks, humanizations of animated characters, OCs and pretty much everything else you can think of. Most characters will fit or can fit with minor canon tweaks, you just need to use your imagination. If you'd like to join, don't be afraid to ask the mods for help fitting your character in.
Additionally, current verse members are encouraged to invite new players they think will enjoy the verse and be fun to play with.

We encourage OOC plotting and planning by way of a muns respective preferred contact method.

Due to the potential for adult situations, trigger content, and violent content, players must be of age to play in the Bump in the Night Verse. As this varies from location to location, we will trust the mun to be truthful with us that they are legally an adult when entering into Bump!Verse. Potentially adult, violent or trigger situations will be denoted in entry tags.
