Bye Bye Bennington!

So I was bored and browsing the coming term's Bennington curriculum. Not a single course Early Childhood-related course was offered, aside from Dev Psych, which I've already taken (at Bennington) and it was not even all that helpful to me as it's David Anderegg and all David Anderegg does (in any class) is ramble on and on about Freud. Not that I have a problem with Freud, in fact I love Freud, however I signed up for a class on developmental pscyhology and not "Freud 101". There is something seriously wrong with a developmental psychology class that spends a grand total of 1.5 hours over the course of the semester discussing Piaget. On top of there being no courses related to children or child development, only 2 of all of the courses offered at all this coming term (that I haven't already taken) I could make a case for being relevant to my overall studies.

Anyway, I am just feeling really reassured that I made the right choice in leaving. ^_^

Adeui, Bennington. We were right for each other once, but have since moved in different directions, and I have made peace with that and moved on with my life. I hope you can as well, and know that though we are no longer right for each other I will forever have a place for you in my heart, since if it were not for you I would not be the person I am today. ;-)

school, remember
