So... Gmail and Facebook are down. =( These are my preferred means of plan-making, however if they are down then they are down and I have to just work around that, and I want to give people at least some notice.
The Christmas tree in Faneuil Hall Marketplace is being decorated/lighted on Saturday at 5:30pm, and there is a ceremony that takes place all day (11am onward) in celebration. There is music and food and entertainment all day and it is FREE! This sounds very exciting and I really want to go! The Christmas tree is 80 feet tall, which is BIGGER than the one in Times Square in NY! Seriously, just think about that, this ought to be amazing and beautiful. Their description here:

Also, spread the word to your friends in the area, the more the merrier! ^_^ Saturdays are my days to go produce-shopping with Sasha in Haymarket, so I wouldn't be there for the morning, I would want to meet people at around 1:30pm. I haven't been to Faneuil Hall Marketplace since I was like 10, all I remember about it is that it is crazy big, so odds are if I just say to meet there we will never find each other. Since I want to meet people in the early afternoon, we could meet up for lunch somewhere in the vicinity and then walk over together, although like I said I haven't been to that area (other than for produce-shopping) since I was 10 so I'm not sure about a place where we could meet for yummies in the neighborhood. Any suggestions? (preferably someplace cheap/at least quasi-fast, like a cute little cafe or somelike, although I mandate that they serve real food and not just cookies and coffee.)
This is a very preliminary posting, hopefully Facebook will be up again tomorrow, in which case I will make an event with a specific meeting time/place and directions by T to said location. If Facebook is not up I will post in LiveJournal or just email anyone who expresses interest, so either way you will definitely be hearing more about this!
