Goodbye for Now
Tomorrow I shall be getting on a plane and leaving for Barcelona, for the next 10 days. Wootwoot! A little nervous cuz I don't remember much espanol and mis padres are expecting me to be their "translator" (so I took Spanish junior and senior year in high school and 2 intermediate-level classes in college...over 2 years ago...and that's supposed to make me fluent or something? Bah, silly padres). I'm hoping 10 days in Spain will refresh my memory a little. Cuz Spanish is a good language to have, and I really don't want those 3 years to have gone to waste because I haven't had anyone to practice with for awhile.
So anywho, while I'm away I will have no interweb and no working cell phone. So if you want to contact me...I suppose you'll just have to wait until I get back. I might be able to sneak into an internet cafe with my dad's laptop to check my email once during the trip, but I can't make any promises. This is gonna be a typical Boucher vacation (meaning, running around like mad, squeezing as many cheesy tourist activities into a single day, and then collapsing and sleeping like babies).
So, anyone want a postcard? I'll be needing your address, of course. I'll check LJ and email one last time tomorrow at 2:30ish, so just email me your address and/or comment before then. Email = nikki.freetobeme@gmail.com.
