I have this interesting coworked named Jeff. I've been working for Taco bell for over 6 months now, and he still never fails to make me laugh. He's 23-24, still lives at home, and for some reason, he likes to think of himself as a computer/robot. I'm not kidding. He's even got several robots at home. In the 6 months I have worked with him, he never really breaks character, only once have I seen him behave like a human, and it actually made me nervous. And now he's a manager, and training me. Anyhow, he never fails to make me laugh, and I wanted to share some of the "Jeffisms" i've remembered. More to come for sure.
Me: Knocking on the back door to be let inside before we open
Jeff: Identify!
Me: Laughing in response, door opens
Jeff: My central processor is not running on a full 280 megahertz (he was feeling sick that day)
Jeff: You don't seem to be operating at full compacity (I was limping that day)
Jeff: I wish I could have four other arms like Doc. Oc on spiderman, then I could make the orders and ring them up at the same time.
Standing on line, waiting for order to pop up on the screen
Jeff: Computer, display downstairs order (this is almost daily)
Me: Jeff, please move
Jeff: Attempting to comply
Jeff going home on Friday "I'm taking my scheduled 40 hour unpaid break"
He's not always robotic in his responses, lots of geek is thrown in as well, and some very odd comments such as the one I got yesterday. He was telling me how much the night manager complains, and he knows I complain alot, so to relay to me how bad she is he said "Mandy complains so much she makes you look like Helen Keller". All I could do was laugh.
