So, I'm in Nova Scotia, and they still haven't told us what we're doing yet. So far we've eaten cafeteria food, played hours-long games of dodgeball, asked every other person how they slept (yesterday the question was "where are you from?", tommorow it will probably be "how was your first day,"..), went for a run and had breakfast. We had dinner too, but I ended up in the wrong dining hall with my roommate, and the whole place had to wait for us to eat. I walked in with a half a slice of toast, and sat down.
Speaking of which, they have a toaster. Neat, eh?
And, I'm the only American. One of the councellors didn't even know that Americans were allowed to apply to Shad Valley. Someone else is from the Bahamas though.
No internet in the rooms, but I'm mooching wireless. And I broke a guitar string while tuning out of open D, so I've got to find a place where I can get a new G string soon.
You have a sick mind.
Although I do break that string alot. I swear it's not on purpose. I even avoid saying G string if I do break one, even though I say E string if I break that one.
Is that string-ist?
I have a phone card, so I might call you. You never know. You can leave me cool messages on my cell phone too, just I won't get them until I get back.
