First Entry.

Over the summer I was happily located at the Burrow (or Ron Weasley's house, to those of you who are unaware of the name), but now I'm back at my residence because of The Magic Project. It was fun spending time with Ron and Ginny when I was there, though, I'm very happy to be home.

I'm so excited I managed to purchase Emeric Switch's “Advanced Methods of Transfigurations” over the summer! Has anyone else read that book? It's quite excellent and delves deep into the subject, I recommend it to everyone! Another excellent buy for summer reading is most of Quentin Trimble's manuscripts over the Dark Arts. I couldn't put the book down! I would have to say that his particular work (his recent one) that came out on June 21 was probably the highlight of my summer.

My mother congratulated me on becoming a prefect again, as well as my father, and I basically had to explain to them last year what a prefect did in Hogwarts (we had a great time last night conversing in an intelligent manner). It was really quite exciting explaining a whole new world to them, and they love learning as much as I do!

I'm also planning to go with Ron and Harry to Diagon Alley on the 25th, is anyone else going to be there? I'm sure we could all plan ahead and meet each other there.

Crookshanks would also like to say a hello to everyone else as well.

Have a good day,
Hermione.
