today on the bus on the way to baldwin (from cabrini - we were meant to have a meet a/g shipley but cabrini didn't have us scheduled, nor did shipley, so we swam ourselves at baldwin) anyways, I HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD! i have been beyond frustrated for a week or so now because i could not express what was bothering me - well now i can, yay!
i have known for a long time that i do not NEED to be romantically involved with anyone - while it may, at times, be what i WANT, it is not NEEDED. What is NEEDED, however, if i am romantically involved with someone, is for that person to express how he feels about me. i'm not talking lovey dovey stuff or anything, but the little things - call me once in a while, etc. while pondering this i thought maybe i was asking for too much, but think this is reasonable. if you're romantically involved with someone, whatever the degree, surely it is perfectly normal to WANT to do these things? i know i do.
