She looked asleep and he didn't want to wake her. He moved to sit tirely in the chair beside her bed. He wrapped his robe tightly around himself. Mogause has brought him some of his own clothes and he felt more comfortable dispite feeling ill.
He sat staring at her, trying desperatly not to think of how she looked when they had found her.

Nigel, yes, she remembered his voice, back there? Couldn't be sure. She opened her eyes the rest of the way,

"I don't remember", she said softly.

"Hey," he said gently. "It's alright now. You're safe and all you have to do is concentrate on healing," he said softly. "Don't worry about trying to remember it now. All you need to remember is that you were not alone and people came for you. People who care for you."

"How long?" She asked quietly.

"Nigh on a month," he said very softly. "We didn't know where you had gone at first, but came for you the moment we knew where you were and that you were in trouble," he told her.

"Well, that's something", Kate murmured, wishing she could feel more relief or gratitude for the unexpected rescue. Wishing she could feel anything.

"I'm just down the hall if you need someone. I'm sure we're both being watched so if you need something, just call out,' he told her, moving to stand, but he sat back down as a wave of dizziness washed through him. he took a moment to collect himself and then got to his feet.
