QuickFic Session #7: Beginnings
I was somewhat behind last month, so I didn't want to advertise far and wide then. This time, though, I'm largely caught up in time for the last week of the month, so I'm issuing another prompt call.
Name of Service: QuickFic Session #7
Description of Service: Reply to this post and leave me a prompt, on the theme of beginnings. In return, I give you about 500 freshly-written words (475-600 to be specific) inspired by that prompt.
Who is Elgible: Anyone.
Date/Time Window: Now, until 23:59 ADT on the 31st July; to recur the last week of each month with a new theme
Tipping? Optional. Incentives mainly include extra word blocks (tripling the material you get if you make any donation at all, as well as another block per $5 CAD), and include some collective-total bonus words as well. $10 or more gets you a pencilled and lightly-shaded illustration courtesy of quoting_mungo.
Examples: All of my work in recent years has gone onto my storyblog. For examples of this sort of flash fiction, see the "flash" tag there or previous session summaries on LJ. (Note: Some material in each contains explicit content. I have tried to flag for this where appropriate and to apply labels about what sort of content it is, and for more potentially-triggering details than just adult-oriented content, but I'm not perfect so I may have missed some things that someone may be sensitive to.)
