QuickFic Session #2: Dualities

Feb 23, 2012 16:54

Name of Day: QuickFic Session #2
Description of Service: You give me a prompt, related in some manner or other to some sort of duality - black and white, yin and yang, halves of a whole, sides of a coin, whatever; it can be obvious or subtle, integral or tangential, so long as it's there. In return, I give you about 500 freshly-written words (475-600 to be specific) inspired by that prompt.
Who is Elgible: Anyone
Date/Time Window: Running from now for one week; to recur the last week of each month with a new theme
Tipping? Optional. Incentives start from extra word blocks (tripling the material you get if you make any donation at all), and include some collective-total benefits as well.
Examples: All of my work in recent years has gone onto my storyblog. For examples of this sort of flash fiction, I compiled a listing of the work done for my first session in this post. (Note: Some material in each contains explicit content. I have tried to flag for this where appropriate and to apply labels about what sort of content it is, but I'm not perfect so I may have missed some.)
