This doesn't mean only 'words'. Words are not everything. We must speak with our actions as well. Everyone hears what we say, friends listen to what we say, but ideal mates listen to what we don't say.
The greatest good you can do for your mate is not just share your riches, but to reveal to him his own. There's one thing I never liked, which is when someone says "Why don't you look for a girlfriend?". How can anyone say this? It's ridiculous! I can't go out looking for a girlfriend, I've got to find her on my way through life, and she won't need to hear 'I love you' until I am ready to say it. Whoever says that friendship is easy has obviously never had a true friend!
