There are warm cinnamon rolls and a custardy sweet kuchen cooling on my stovetop, tempting me to indulge. It was so sunny today that I convinced myself to go for a run and returned flushed and exhilarated. Hours later I'm exhausted, but hoping I can do it again tomorrow. I also managed to freeze some kale from my backyard, and pick blackberry leaves, which are now drying on brown paper in my living room.  This seems like a productiv evening, but really it was procrastination from the ever-present ever pressing homework. The problem with Olympia is that it provides with me so many opportunities to avoid the work at hand. Procession of the Species is next Saturday and the public costume creation studio is open to the public and beckoning me. There are batik prints galore and wild magical animal creations. Why wouldn't I want to be there? The frogs are still singing.
