The most surprising gift I received came from my godchild. She walked up to me holding a glass.
It was filled with water.
It was filled with stones.
It was filled with water plants.
In it swam three small tadpoles.
She caught them for me because I love frogs. Of course, they are now out of the glass they came in and live imy aunt's garden pond. But it was still a funny gift that made everyone look.
