It's as big as a whale
So, I'm having surgery to remove the fibroid on August 30th.
After my last ultrasound, the surgeon said, "Yeah, this is a lot worse than I thought it was." And then, "Your whole anatomy is grossly deformed. I mean, it's so big it's like you already have a baby in there."
He showed us pictures of a normal uterus. Then he showed me pictures of mine. It looks like someone jammed a ball of socks in it. Same size and shape.
I guess even if he gets it all out, there are horrible things that could happen during a pregnancy. Jesus, really? A baby could kick a hole right through my uterus now?
Can't there be some good news?
