I, too, became the owner of a roomba within the last two months. Of course I love the idea of a small, personal robot that lives in my house. I love that it has a tiny brush which meticulously cleans up the corner between the wall and floor. I love that it goes from room to room by itself and spends a lot of time going after flecks of paper that fall under my desk.
Helen, though, will tell anyone who brings up roombas, "A roomba saved my relationship." Why? Because it forces me to keep the floors cleared. Because of that, my house is always uncluttered and neat-looking. Sorta. I need one that wanders around on the kitchen counter now.
Mine was surprisingly inexpensive! I mean, it's the most basic, but I guess they got some in at Big Lots for $99 because that's where my mom got this one. I have become a total Roomba advocate!

And watching Roomba of Doomba and I, Roomba didn't help much either.

And of course I had to go to YouTube and look those videos up, and now I'm creeped out. The one with the little kid riding the Roomba was pretty hilarious though.
