Sense of Smell
What's the worst smell you've ever encountered? What did it do to you?
Perhaps I'm in the minority on this one, but I think, for me, it's....worms. Just had to walk down a driveway full of dead/dying worms due to rain forcing them up from the soil. I was barely able to walk my son to the bus and back, and ended up dry heaving in the yard before making it indoors. Perhaps the dead mouse on the ground right below the bus doors had something to do with it as well, but I definitely became nauseous upon setting foot in the yard, less than a minute before I even spotted it.
Thank goodness a close friend had sent me some home made soap scented with apples, and I was able to do some serious aromatherapy and purge the worm smell from immediate short term memory.
