There's barely enough free film over the next two weeks to fill up one listing, let alone two, so I'm opting to combine the schedule with no update next week.

* The BPL Copley Square Family Movie Sunday screens "Open Season 3" today.
* The Goethe-Institut Boston will screen "Mother Hulda" this morning.
* The BPL Copley Square Monday Night Film Series continues with "Christmas Carol" (2009).
* The BPL South Boston Man of Menace Film Series continues with "The Hoodlum" on Tuesday afternoon.
* The Brookline Putterham Wednesday Midday Movie is "The Five-Year Engagement". "Rock of Ages" is next week's movie.
* The BPL North End will show "The Men Who Stare at Goats" on Wednesday as part of a series of comedy films.
* The Lucy Parsons Center Radical Film Night on Wednesday is "Salt of the Earth". No movie has been announced for Boxing Day as of now.
* Thursday afternoon's Coolidge Corner Library Senior Cinema will show "Christmas in Connecticut" this week and "Holiday" next.
* The BPL Copley Square Never Too Late group will screen "The Family Stone" on Thursday afternoon. They will screen "The Apartment" after Christmas.
* On Thursday, MIT will screen short films as part of the In the Holocene Exhibition.
* The BPL South Boston Dangerous to Know Film Series continues on Thursdays with "Sudden Fear" and "Torch Song" respectively.
* Watertown Public Conversation Project Movie Night will screen "Monsieur Lazhar" on Thursday. RSVP requested.
* The Rule 19 monthly screening on Thursday is "Our Daily Bread".
* BPL South End Noir Film Series picks back up with "Angel Face" on Friday and "Illegal" next week.
* Harvard Film Archive hosts its 4th Annual Vintage Christmas Show on next Sunday afternoon with clips and shorts.
