Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

While I was checking my Yahoo mail, this trailer for a new Tim Burton movie caught my eye:

Apparently, it's based off of an award-winning Broadway musical and involves Johnny Depp's singing. This could either be awesome or terrible.

I've been trying to teach myself some more piano songs because the only one I've ever had committed entirely to memory was Lux Aeterna. Now I've memorized "Comptine D'un Autre Été: L'après-midi" from Amelie (even though I have never seen the film). Yann Tiersen's compositions are so much fun to play because they're difficult enough to be a challenge but not too difficult that I'll never learn the entire piece. I'm currently working another Tiersen song from "Good Bye Lenin!" (good film) called "Mother's Journey," which will probably take me a bazillion years to get up to speed. I'm really excited about learning it because it's a very pretty song that sounds a lot more complicated than it really is.

I need to make an appointment with an academic advisor to start planning next semester, but I am too lazy to do so. I've been trying to sort my major/minor situation out on my own, but I'm being indecisive. I did figure out that a journalism/computer science combo could actually be useful in a specific field that I hadn't even thought about before: technical writing. I think I need to do some more research about this field, because it could be interesting. :D
