Morning Office Chatter
Its way too early to be having intellegent conversations with the office mavens. Ugh! I got up early this morning and actually made it to bed on time, but as usual I became engrossed in the usual livejournal, yes Im blaming you all for making me late, topic of interest. I got into the story about the mean cop and forgot to setup my coffee so I can have something other than the starbucks swill. The Coffee People nearby does alright, but I think they intentionally make their coffee taste rancidly strong just so they can compete with the starbucks house swill which no earthly being could possible look forward to.
On the max this morning it sounded like the wheels were gonna snap off the car we were on. Everyone was like okay ...should we tell the driver or what. I was thinking hmmmm good excuse for being late "max car derails in zoo tunnel, story at eleven" But alas my good luck wasnt holding out cause it stopped once we reached the Lovejoy stop. I enjoy riding the max and missing the hustle and bustle of the morning commute as well as the 8 bucks a day for the parking garage.
Im saving up for a new apartment and have been looking around town for somewhere nice to move into and the places where I usually hang out are composed of mostly ghetto apartments with high priced exceptions. Im kind of leaning towards SW pdx, but that would mean giving up my rusty shitbox of a car.
This weekend, much like last, really was boring since I coulnt spend any money.
So I dug out my old video gamez and geeked out on web cartoons.
FOAMY THE SQUIRREL IS MY NEW LORD AND MASTER
I remember this flash movie one of my coworkers from STREAM INTERNATIONAL (aka satans crotch)with this squirrel pestering this girl in the hospital and calling the blood pressure cuff a Kevorkian scarf. In any case I finally found out it came from this series of flash movies about a goth chick and her pet squirrel from a site called www.illwillpress.com.
Well this post has become annoyingly long so I guess I should actually do a little work.
