Portfolio wha...?
Interesting morning I had today as well as last night. Oh, boy.
So it's midterms week at UWO, and I was feelin' fine. "Hey," I thought (possibly aloud), "life's pretty sweet. No midterm hubub for me!" That is what I thought...
...until at about 10:30pm last night. That's when I realized that I did, in fact, have a porfolio review today counting for roughly half of the points in the class.
So I quick threw some stuff that was maybe right for that class into my portfolio, then I went to class early today to get it all sorted out before the review began.
Buuuuut silly-ass me hadn't even considered the possibility that my prof would have another class before ours. :/ Which he did. So despite the fact that I got to school an hour and a half early, by the time I could actually get into the classroom to start prepping my stuff, it was ten minutes until class. O___o
Most uncool. But in the end, I think it went well. I was very nervous, though, and nail-biting like a madwoman. At one point, I looked down and one of my fingers was bleeding!
But I got some good comments and overall, I think people think my drawings were strong...especially the professor, and that's what really matters, I guess. I'm glad it's over. *phew* But yeesh...I never wanna do something stupid as hell like that again! Way too stressful for the a.m.
