Halfway through ze WriMo!
Woot! It's halfway...ish through NaNoWriMo for this January...and I'm feelin' spunky! As many of you likely know, I was way super-duper behind on my script (try 5000+ words in the whole...yowch!), but today, I am triumphant! Yay! I finally caught up! Now I'm only ~800 words shy of my goal for today, which I should be able to do in about an hour. *jinx*
I'm very pleased, considering that I thought I would never be able to catch up again. It was a rough week...but I busted my ass, and now I'm back! Wooooo!
So now I'm at almost 25,000 words! OMG I'm halfway through a novel!!!!
Of course, mine will likely be over 50,000 words, even though it's only a bare-bones script. Man, why did I pick such a long story to make my debut with. (What debut is this? Have I made some sort of debut? I thought I was just laying in bed in jammers typing and listening to Wax and Wane over and over again. Huh. :/ )
But either way, I thought I needed to make public my progress, if for no other reason than to keep up my morale. I'll probably be actually done by the end of February, sans editing. Then I get to start drawing it! *yay...?*
Omigod, what if I submit the first couple chapters of my comic and get a deal??? Fuck teaching, that's what! Ize gonna be a comic artist! With a staff! And an office! And moneeeeeey! And the love of geeks!!!!
*deflates head* Whew. That was scary. What did I say now? :D
