Supreme Commander looks simply awesome. It's reason enough to upgrade to a high-powered computer.
Speaking of computers, I am currently fuming at HP. I sent in my laptop for repairs a month ago, got it back 2 weeks ago, and now it's having the same problem (blank screen). Basically, I've spent most of this quarter without a working computer, which is really, annoying, considering that more than half the stuff I have to read has been in PDF format.
That said, it's shaping up to be a really good academic quarter for me. Admittedly, I've been less social than I would have liked, but that's what happens when you have to spend half your time running over to the library to find a functional computer.
Once my computer is back and finals are over (2-weeks time, hopefully), I may actually pick up the game despite its high price tag. I'd have to figure out if my computer could handle it first -- it looks pretty hardware-intensive
