Maximum kitten
Max had his second blood test since finishing chemo on Friday. Got the phone call with the results today and everything is perfect.
They're really happy with him. He's put on more weight, he's stopped pulling out his fur in anxiety and his whiskers are all growing back.
I can tell how much better he's feeling too. Lately he's been having regular attacks of chase his tail on my bed, sometimes even while I'm in it. Nothing wakes you up quicker than a spinning furry pinball careening around next to you that's for sure. It's so good to see him happy.
Chemo was bloody expensive. Turned out to actually be even more expensive than we expected, but it was worth it. We will have Max in our lives for a while longer, and that makes me happy.
Now to spend some dollars maintaining our old man Smudge. He's 13 now, and needs some TLC so he'll be well enough to give us a few more years too.
