See I actually dislike the monroe piercings a lot. I find they look good on very few people...

Agreed, but I reckon it would suit you, if you were to go for a facial piercing.

The back of my neck is a very special place for me. I LOVED it being tattooed. I imagine getting it pierced would be likewise a lovely thing.
