Day 3 of the dreaded lurgie and I'm still at home.
Last night I got all feverish and scary. Sat for an hour with a bucket on my knees sure I was going to throw up, but never did. My face felt so hot I was sure it was going to catch aflame, but the rest of me was freezing. Another dreadful night of trying to sleep, alternating between hot and sweaty, and freezing cold.
Ended up getting out of bed at 7am cos I just couldn't cope anymore. Everything hurts. I had the worst headache, probably from all the coughing. The doc told me to hold my forehead when I cough and that will stop the headaches. Sounds silly but it actually works.
So after some fluids, painkillers and even some food I am feeling quite a bit better.
I hate being sick.
