Good News
so the "topic" of the sermon for the past 4 weeks has been "great joy good news" (or good new great joy) i can't remember either way i just got tight news tonight. I got a call on the phone from some man who said that i had been accepted into the Chyrsilis it's a christian retreat. It's MLK weekend which means i will be gone from Friday night thru Monday afternoon. Which kind of stinks however it will be amazing. I just know it will. This is what i've really needed lately to give my faith a boost and obviously God agrees that it is what I need right now. Well i mean I guess so. But we'll see what comes of the weekend in about 15 more days.
Last night i watched the movie Kingdom of Heaven is was awesome. I absolutely LOVED sooo many of the lines in it so much that i looked some up online :o)
here they are:
* God will understand, my lord. And if he doesn't, then he is not God and we need not worry
* When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.
* You are not what you were born, but what you have it in yourself to be.
Not only was the movie awesome but yeah those quotes are just crazy powerful.
Soooooo today i worked at the animal shelter from 8-10 and then worked on the english project from 10:30 til 2. which was a blast i love melissadjjosh they are t-ight. and it was tight. and our movie ROCKS! then i came home and waited for Melissa to drop off pictures but before she came Chase did :) yay! That was a happy surprise :) ummm anyway. So tomorrow my mom comes home. YippY! no more making dinner for myself:) but wait there also goes my freedom :( . well i do believe i'm done updating this for now :)
