(no subject)
I'm journeying to Seattle and Portland on the 4th until the 9th for my Dad's side family reunion again. Can't wait. So glad I was able to afford to leave LA/not work for a few days to get to see my family.
Went to see my first Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game tonight...because my team the Atlanta Braves were playing them. The Braves had a big fat loss 2-8, but I got to see John Smoltz pitch, even though he let 3 runs go by. I freaking love baseball and every aspect of it. I don't follow it like I wish I did, but it doesn't matter to me...I love not knowing everything about the sport/teams/players, because it makes it that much more fun for me to learn about it.
I went to the game with Mike. I'm in his apartment right now. He's playing acoustic guitar right now. We're what you would call "dating." We met in Mid- May, and have spent A LOT of time together since then. He's amazing, and I adore spending time with him. I've been waiting to approach the whole "relationship/official" status slowly, and he knows why and everything, but I'm HOPING I can let my nerves settle on that front sometime soon the future. I connect with him on levels that I didn't with the other 2 guys I've dated in LA, which means I've told him a lot more about myself, and I feel a lot more comfortable and feel like we can share most things with each other. He makes me LAUGH. A LOT. We're eating cookie dough straight from the Pillsbury package right now, haha what a bunch of girls. (or not..he's a guy) I'm having a lot of fun getting to know him, and being with him. Let's not jinx this...
