wknd update
fri: ocsc then haggard at my house with CS
sat: was up early for some reason. BT came down from Greensboro with Andrea. We took Tyler out for a walk, went to the usual rounds of bookstores, comic book stores, thrift stores and record stores. We also had sunrise biscuits. tumultuous time trying to hang out with MDJ, due to scheduling conflicts and his much needed assistance at emergencies with nothing to do with me. i bought some Hives, Tori, Placebo and Rufus Wainright, not to mention a stack of books in the historical fiction and classics realm. one is an awesome national geographic hardcover about Greece and Rome: The builders of our world. One is a kids book about alexander from 1953 that says that he was corrupted by eastern wickedness when he died, and that he spread the laxness to his troops and was pretty much responsible for all kinds of bad things. i was going to save it for my kids, but i can't let them read that kind of crap!
sun: made a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with ham and feta and some toast. went to trader joe's with YL. came home, cleaned out the fridge (its marvellous and lovely now), joined paperbackwswap.com, played a little rockband, ate dinner of steak a roasted salad and this awesome pane of tuscan bread, bathed, and watched another installment of Blue.
