Weekend
Hi Everyone,
HOw are you? I just finished this article that's due tomorrow morning about Boy Scouts for the Daily Record. I'm so glad I'm done because it was a last minute assignment and I was freaking out a bit how I would get it done. So, with that out of the way, I can work on my novel now. Yay:-)
Tomorrow, I have to interview people for 2 Daily Record stories. One interview is in Morristown which is fine, but the other is in East Orange and I'm really nervous about driving there as I hear it's not a good area. Ugh.:-( Then, tomorrow night, I have to tutor. Don't think I'll be happy tomorrow.
This weekend was pretty nice. Friday, Stu and I went to synogogue. We're still trying to find one in this town we like and haven't yet. This coming Friday we're trying a different one that I heard good things about so hopefully we'll like it. I'd like to meet some nice young couples in Fair Lawn too so it will be more fun for us.
Yesterday, I went out with Marina, Becky, and my friend Renee to a movie and a cool Montclaire cafe called Cafe Eclectic. The movie, Intimate Strangers, was ok. Marina, Becky, and Renee really liked it, but I'd have been ok with it as a rental. Maybe it's just me. Then, we hung out late and talked and reminisced about our colleges which we decided (well, I decided this moons ago and frequently feel this way) that we really miss college. There was always something to do, places to go, and friends all around you in walking distance. I remember when Amy and I lived in Centennial and she was only one floor up! And, Jenn and I used to practically live in each other's dorms. We decided they should have a college for older people like some kind of environment or a reality show where people live in a dorm but they have kids and stuff. NBC execs, are you listening?
Good TV tonight. THere's a WB show I watch called Jack and Bobby at 9 and then Boston Legal on ABC @10. I've been waiting for that show forever! As for WB, am I the only loser who watches that channel?:-)
Bummed about Joey because my parents VCR is weird and I can't tape it and have class on Thursdays. Glad I got to see the Apprentice last week. Hate that girl that got fired. Yuk. Stu can't stand anyone on the women's team because he says they're all winers. I can see that.
