And the stress begins
So Matt and I have finally set a date. 2-06-2010 So now we get to ask our families what they can help with and then I will have to come up with some idea to cover the rest since neither side of our family has any money to help what so ever. I was thinking about getting a signature loan with my bank since they give me such good interest rates and the only loan I have with them now is my car which I got 3/4 years ago.
I have a problem with asking my dad for help on this. I mean we have been together for 7 years next month and my dad has never offered and makes comments about how he doesn't believe in weddings/marriage so I am SO not looking forward to that conversation. I will call my mom first and see what she can do. That way I have something to tell my dad.
I have to get the budget down so I can start thinking how big this wedding can be. One giant event or 2 small ones. SO much crap lol. But in the end it will be worth it. It would be easier if I wasn't so stubborn. I want my dad to walk me down the isle. I cant elope and do that. So some kind of ceremony has to be done so this can happen. I try to find a way to compromise on it but when I think back I will regret not doing it and I dont want any regrets on this day. I have been waiting far to long for that!
So for the next year I will be updating you, for those who even read, (more so for me to look back on and laugh years down the line) on the crazy events that take place :O)
Oh and if at all at anytime you have any suggestions I am open to hear them :O)
