It's been a while since we've spoken, hasn't it? I bet you're all dying to know what's been going on in my life lately.
First of all, I'll take care of the old news.
I do officially have a date to homecoming this year. Most of you know this already, but this is for those who don't. (And yes, it is a female.)
So that's that.
Easy peasy.
Second:
FABLE HAS FINALLY COME OUT!
THAT'S AWESOME NEWS.
I rarely "anticipate" games prior to their release date, (Except, of course, for Halo 2) but this was one game I couldn't wait for.
Supposedly the most ambitious RPG ever, I'm four hours in and feel as though I haven't made a dent. (That's a good thing.) Also, Me and Scott J. are about the same amount of time in, but he's done stuff I haven't.
In summation: Badass, highly replayable, fully worth fifty dollars RPG.
Buy it.
Third: The PGL has gotten the clear.
That is so awesome! Leppy said Dave's been fighting it for three years, and finally Mr. Activitiesdirectorguy gave in.
So yes, there's going to be a video game club at our school.
Best. Club. Ever.
Fourth, and quite possibly the most controvertial (at least to Vicki, Otto, Dave, and Twist): I made it into Aladdin McFaddin.
I'm Axeman #2. Yay. I am now officially a part of Drama. And also Robotics, as well as (hopefully) the PGL.
Guess who's involved this year? (OOH! OOH! PICK ME! I KNOW THIS ONE!)
And the rest:
Cake is coming to town, Yay. Cake. Highly anticipating the concert, as my mother promised to take me. Thank God she has the same taste in music as me. Otherwise I would never have rides to these places.
And now onto the details of my life:
Basically, I've been doing pretty well lately. Seven Man Mafia "met" today, suffice it to say we didn't learn/do much. Except Mike's as excellent a bass player as he is guitar. Let us applaud.
Okay, that's enough.
After the band left, I just kinda hung out and played Fable.
Dad left like usual, and Eric refused to give up the computer, so I negotiated with him for over an hour to get it.
So here I am, 11 P.M., doing nothing.
Oh, Katelyn also lent me the book "Wizard's First Rule" from the Sword of Truth series. If you're into fantasy and such, I suggest you pick up a copy and read it.
It's quite good.
-Yawn-
I'm tired. I didn't sleep much last night.
(I could tell you all wanted to know that)
Anyway,
Until next time,
This is Scotto, Signing off.
Farewell.
