Give me a link to one of my fics, and I'll give you details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

I think the main reason I never finished this was because the premise was pretty weird, and I couldn't make it work with reality. At first, I wanted to write Jesus as a kind of recluse/agoraphobe-late onset, due to all the people outside his house and not being able to live a private life-because he has severe anxiety in real life. Sergio was supposed to help him break out of his shell and show him that he had nothing to fear, etc. But, because I wanted him to have practically no contact with other people, including family, I couldn't reconcile that with how much he actually loves his family.

Anyway, Jesus was basically supposed to be terrifyingly famous for being really attractive... lol. Photographers would line up outside his house because they wanted to take pictures of him, but he just wanted them to go away because all he wanted to do was run around and 'be free.' And then he would meet Sergio, who would show him 'how to live' ... Actually, thinking about this now, it sounds kind of like a convoluted modern retelling of Rapunzel.

How To Tell A Love Story

THERE IS A STRANGE WAY TO TELL A LOVE STORY, AND IT IS BY NOT TELLING A LOVE STORY AT ALL. THE BOY WITH THE BEAUTIFUL EYES; THE LONG-HAIRED GYPSY.

The biggest regret in Jesús's life is posing for his then-amateur photographer cousin when he was nineteen. Now Miguel is world-famous, in Paris, in Lisbon, in London, in the Bahamas, taking pictures of beautiful people who all look the same; now Jesús can no longer leave the house without being accosted by the photographers who spend all day queued up outside his house. They tell him that they are from Tokyo, from Shanghai, from New York, from Milan, and he tells them that he is not a model.

Jesús used to run - when he was younger, he'd dreamed of becoming an Olympic athlete - but nowadays, he just stays inside the mansion Miguel had built for him when the profits from the photoshoot (and all the subsequent job offers, for both of them) poured in. Jesús stays inside, alone because no-one wants to visit him with all the photographers around, photographers who will take pictures of anything that moves and call it art; alone because he is not very good with people outside of family. He gets his groceries delivered and makes his own meals (because what Sevillan does not cook), and only cleans the part of the house he actually inhabits. A housekeeper comes by once a month and does the rest.

Sometimes in the dead of night on a day the photographers are particularly tired (and he can tell, now, after three years, just by lifting the curtain and glancing outside), Jesús climbs down the tree beside his window and walks out of his backyard into the adjoining forest - his forest, he has more land than he knows what to do with - and there he breathes easy.

This is how Jesús first meets Sergio.
