Give me a link to one of my fics, and I'll give you details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

God, uh. This fic was really hard to write, and also really hard to talk about, mostly because I try to think as little about 2PM as possible. There isn't any background canon other than what actually happened, I don't think. I hate the ending a lot. I was pressed for time, though, and I couldn't think of any other way to end it, so I just put down that (terrible, corny) ending. If I were to do it again, I would probably go deeper into the mental/emotional repercussions, because I don't think that sort of thing is really that easy to recover from. Maybe I'd just make it open-ended.

Anyway, I wanted to write this premise in the first place because there was very little focus being placed on how the other members felt, except for, like, Wooyoung and Chansung, I think, because it was more obvious to see that they were upset/stressed. And I do still believe that if they were to choose a new leader (they didn't, right?), they would choose Taec over Junsu, if only because Junsu wouldn't want to do it. But then, at the time, it would have placed incredible pressure on Taec, because of the fans/general uproar, but also (and especially) because of his own obviously close friendship with Jay.

I've always imagined that Jay was wearing a white graphic tee, jeans, and a (too-large) purple cap when Taec called, and that it was very bright where he was (natural light), whereas Taec was in a dark (probably black) shirt and dark blue jeans, and that it was pretty dim in the psychiatrist's office (just a small desk lamp). I guess that kind of reflects their respective mental states at the time of the phone call, in that Jay was at a place where he felt okay to move on, while Taec just felt guilty about everything. I don't know why I chose to write it that way (plus the whole kind-of-happy ending thing), as I'm sure that it was much, much worse for Jay in real life.
